HALO AIR PURIFICATION STATIONS

Mitigate the risk of airborne viruses, bacteria, mold and fungi.

Proven effectiveness at reducing load concentration of present viable and non-viable particles in both controlled and real-world settings.
The filters in Erlab’s HALO purification stations have proved particularly effective against viruses where the average size of the virus particle is 0.125 microns

Not just another air purifier – The HALO is unique in the marketplace with first of its kind ceiling placement.

Erlab equips its HALO with H14 laboratory grade HEPA filtration combined with our proprietary Carbon AX for optimal filtration efficiency of particles and TVOCs.
HEPA Filters are compliant with the EN 1822 standard, guaranteeing optimal efficiency of 99.995% of the MPPS (most penetrating particle size), which is combined with Carbon AX which has been tested for VOC adsorption efficiency through Erlab’s extensive testing protocols.
Just as the filters are designed for optimal efficiency, the air purifier itself needs to be designed to process the air in a delicate manner to work with the filters, which is where the HALO stands-alone in design, placement and overall performance functionality.
The most advanced air filtration technology in the world, developed and improved over more than 50 years by Erlab for chemical and biological laboratories, is now available to everyone. The HALO filters molecules, pathogenic particles, and PM 2.5 which pose the greatest risk to your health and well-being.

“You don’t want to have horizontal transport,” which can spread viruses from person to person, Venkatram said. “You should encourage vertical transport of air. It doesn’t matter whether the air is coming from the top or bottom, but it’s easier for it to come from the bottom because your breath is warm. So it goes up automatically. You might as well take advantage of that.”

– Research by Akula Venkatram, a mechanical engineering professor at the University of California.

HALO AIR PURIFICATION STATIONS

Above the breathing zone is the perfect, most effective placement.

Whether it’s airborne viruses, bacteria, mold, fungi, or generalized pollution, the smaller most harmful particles propagate above the breathing zone remaining suspended for hours. With the Halo placed above the breathing zone, these harmful pollutants are drawn up and away from occupants to ensure there is no redistribution exposing occupants from a downflow, or horizontal airflow pattern. Up and away is where the particles should be kept.

ASHRAE 241 approved for proven efficacy, delivering safety, sustainably.

A single device provides a complete cycle equivalent air change rate per hour (eACH)  for every 10,000  ft³ of air, which is the volume of air in a room with 1,000 ft² of floorspace. It works continuously to entirely replenish the air in a room. More units in a space will provide more air changes per hour. Every customers space is different and every customer is provided with a tailored plan based on several factors including occupancy density factors.
Installing HALO’s throughout your facility provides increased air change rates, improved room mixing, or ventilation effectiveness (VEFF) and 24/7 HEPA filtration. . The HALO provides a permanent infrastructure improvement sustainably without the need for costly upgrades to your HVAC (Heating – Ventilation – Air Conditioning).
Each HALO consumes a total of 50W of energy making the HALO a much more cost effective solution than energy costs which are absorbed from an increase in your existing HVAC air turnovers and if possible filters. The higher grade filter the greater the restriction of air , which means the fan will have to work harder and the efficiency of your HVAC could very likely be compromised.
